PAT Testing Service in Brighton & Hove

What is PAT testing?

PAT stands for 'Portable Appliance Testing' and describes the examination of electrical appliances to ensure they are safe for people to use. The majority of electrical defects can be found with a visual examination of devices, but some types of defect require specialist testing. PAT testing involves the combination of both methods to ensure all electrical items in your business remain safe.

We can advise on an electrical maintenance regime, with a checklist for competent members of staff to fill out on a regular basis. This will ensure any obvious issues are caught early.

Our engineers carry specialised PAT Testing equipment to perform the more thorough checks. We advise at least an annual check - more often for larger, more technology reliant businesses.
